Design Engineering

Process
Experience in material and Energy balance study, hydraulic calculations, preparation of PFDs, P & IDs, equipment list & data sheets of equipment & instruments, F & G system study, HAZOP study, thermal design of heat exchangers etc.

Plant Layout & Piping
Experience in plot plan, equipment layout, PMS 3 D modeling in PDS / PDMS with generation of isometrics, stress analysis and supports, MTOs, IBR Piping, etc.

Instrumentation
Experience in control schematics, DCS, ESD, F&G, machine controls, I/O list, instrument index, plan layout, control room layout, meeting/analyzer / chromatograph systems, MR preparation with bids evaluation etc.

Electrical
Experience in electrical systems, power / lighting / earthing design, SLD, area classification, protection systems, MR preparation, bids evaluation etc.

Mechanical
Static Equipment: Experience in design / engineering of pressure - vessels, columns, reactors, tanks, sphere, heat exchangers (water / air), fire heaters, MR preparation, Bids evaluation, review of vendor drawings, etc.

Rotating Equipment: Experience in application engineering and selection of pumps, compressors, turbines, engines etc. MR preparation, bids evaluation, vendor drawings review etc.

Packaged Equipment: Experience in application engineering and selection of packages such as Boilers, HRSG, refrigeration, N2/02, Fire systems, H2 / N2 PSA plant, Inst. Air, bagaging system etc. MR preparation, Bids evaluation, vendor drawings review etc.

Heat Exchanger Specialist: Experience in thermal design of heat transfer equipment like Reformers, Fired heaters, Exchangers etc. and familiarity with all international codes / Standards, knowledge of tools like HTRI / HTFS is essential, Specialisation in fired heaters with process design background will be added advantage.

Material Handling: Experience in preparation of equipment specification, layouts and system design of pneumatic / bulk conveyor systems, de-dusting systems in refinery / petrochemical applications.

HVAC Engineer: Experience in HVAC field doing review, studies, heat load calculations, sizing and selection of equipments preparation of enquiry documents technical bid analysis, detail engineering, duct design etc. for industrial and commercial buildings. Knowledge of Air Handling units, Air ventilation units, chillers, chemical filters, and precision Air conditioners is necessary.

Civil
Structural: Experience in analysis, design and checking of RCC and steel structure for equipment foundation, super structure, pipe rack etc. for design loads / forces / moments inclusive of wind and seismic, preparation and issue of drawings for construction.

General Civil: Experience in plot plan, site grading, infrastructure such as roads, pavement, culverts, bridges underground drainage for storm water, OWS & CRW, all water systems such as Raw, cooling, DM, Fire, drinking, ETP, Preparation and checking of specification etc.

Architecture: Experience in designing of industrial / non-plant buildings, preparation of specifications, MTO's SOQ's, Tender inputs etc.

Designers
Minimum diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute having worked for Process units of Large Refinery / Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Projects in:

a. Civil / Structure drafting using 3 D modelling PDS, Autocad / Microstation 3 D Max software.

b. Piping drafting using 3 D modelling PDS, ISO Gen., Autocad / Micro station, checking of ISOS.

c. Electrical / Instrument drafting using 3 D modelling PDS, Autocad / Microstation.

Project Management
Experience in Project execution of process units and / or offsite and utilities. Interfacing between owner Management, client, vendors, contractors with support from planning, costing, Engineering etc.

Project Engineering
Experience in multidiscipline Engineering Consultancy organization executing projects on EPC basis, inter-disciplines co-ordination, co-ordination with planning / project control for monitoring and progress reporting.

Project Planning & Control
Experience in developing summary and detailed planning and schedules of the project for all stages (process, engineering, procurement & construction) and prepare progress reports with bottlenecks and slippage solutions. Must have knowledge of relevant software such as Primavera, MS Access, MIS excel etc.

Document Control
Documentation receipts / transmissions using conventional and / or electronic systems like FTP / Internet; Database creation / updation / management; Archiving of electronic documentation / Classification of Engineering & equipment deliverables; Document filing / retrieval on paper / electronic formats; Documentation circulation in paper / electronic formats; document version / revision control and tracking of lifecycle; Document / drawing scanning / format conversions etc.

Positions are based in Mumbai & Jamnagar.
Applicants should be engineering graduates / post-graduates in one of the above disciplines from a recognized university / institute and should be familiar with national & international codes and standards. Preference will be given to those with experience of working in Large Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil, Gas & Chemicals Projects.
