INDIAN AIR FORCE Invites applications from bright young engineers to join the Technical Branch in the following courses.  

Qualified / Final Year Engineering Students for 76th Aeronautical Engineers Course (AEC) Men & 48th Short Service Commission Course (SSC) Men and Women - Course commencing January 2010

Pre-Final Year Male Engineering Students for University Entry Scheme (UES) - 2010 - Course commencing July 2010

Last date of receipt of application: 09 March 2009. 16 March for candidates from far-flung areas.

Qualifications:
* Born between 02 Jan 1982 and 01 Jan 1992 for AEC/SSC and Born between 02 July 82 and 01 July 1992 for UEC .
* AEC (Electronics): Be/B.Tech. in Electronics/ Telecomm/ Electrical/ Electrical Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science & Engineering or a combination of these subjects. OR Diploma in Electronics of Madras Institute of Technology OR B.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electronics/ Optics and Opto Electronics OR M.Sc. Degree in Physics (with Electronics) / Electronics/ Computer Science/ Computer application / MCA with Maths. Physics and Electronics and Radio Engineering with 60% & above.
* For AEC (Mechanical): B.E./ B.Tech. in Aeronautical/ Mechanical / Production/ Industrial Production or a combination of these subjects.
