Salalah Methanol Company, L.L.C (SFZ) is building 3000t/d methanol in the Salalah Free Zone, in Salalah, Oman. The plant uses Johnson Matthey Catalysts' LPproduction technology based on Jacobs Consultancy's flow sheet. GS E&C is the EPC contractorand work is underprogress. The plant generates it's own powerand fresh water.
We are looking formotivated, enthusiastic individuals to join ourteam as:
MATERIALSTECHNICIAN
- Diploma/ Graduate from Technical School.
- 3 years as a Materials Technician in Petrochemical, Oil/ Gas Industry.
ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
- Diploma/ Graduate from Technical School, with at least 3 years of Electrical formal training.
- 5 years as an Electrical Technician in Methanol, Ammonia orrelated Petrochemical plants.
INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN
- Diploma/ Graduate from Technical School.
- 5 years as a Maintenance Technician in Methanol, Ammonia orrelated Petrochemical plants.
PANEL OPERATOR (METHANOL/UTILITIES)
- Graduate from technical school. 10 years shift operating experience in a large petrochemical plants orsimilarfacilities.
FIELD OPERATOR (METHANOL/UTILITIES)
- High School Certificate (Grade 10 orequivalent) is required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years experience working as an operatorin Methanol, Ammonia or Utilities Petrochemical Plant.
TRAINING COORDINATOR
- BSc in chemical/mechanical orrelated graduate degree.
- 5+ years relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge on methanol production processes/equipment & control systems.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Dedication to self-improvement and to team development and growth; commitment to training of staff.
