OPSC currently provides Engineering Services, Plant Operation and Management to Oman Methanol Company LLC, owner of a 3000 MTPD Methanol Plant in Sohar. We are currently seeking to attract professionals to serve in the following positions. Fluency in English is a basic requirement.
CONDITION MONITORING & INSPECTION SUPERVISOR - MECHANICAL
Qualifications, Job purpose & Experience:
- University graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent with relevant experience in Vibration Monitoring and Analysis.
- Knowledge on On-line and Off-line equipment vibration monitoring system. Preferably Emersion CSI Portable Analyzer and Bentley Nevada Vibration Monitoring System.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment to make quick, accurate and safe decision in response to emergencies and abnormal situations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, project management and communication skills.
- Skilled in problem diagnosis and well versed in all relevant codes and standards.
- Experience 8-10 years in the Inspection / Reliability Section of Petrochemical / Process Industry, out of this a minimum 2 years as CMI Supervisor Rotating Equipment.
CONDITION MONITORING & INSPECTION SUPERVISOR - ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION
Qualifications, Job purpose & Experience:
- University graduate in Engineering Electrical / Instrumentation with Electrical installations and DCS experience.
- Reliability assurance experience Field Bus experience is preferred.
- Takes lead role in the development and implementation of preventive, condition monitoring and reliability engineering programs for Electrical, Instrumentation and DCS System.
- Monitors the effectiveness of the programs, maintenance reworks and makes recommendations.
- Report writing and communication skills.
- Skilled in problem diagnosis and well versed in all relevant codes and standards.
- Experience 7-10 years in Petrochemical Plant as Plant Reliability Engineer for Electrical and Instrumentation.
SENIOR PROCESS OPERATOR
Qualifications, Job purpose & Experience:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer.
- University graduate in science stream.
- Desirable Window based Emersion Delta V DCS operation.
- Good communication and reporting skill.
- Familiar with process safety and PTW system.
- Can independently work in field during Plant shut down.
- Fair knowledge of P&L diagrams & SOP write-ups.
- Experience 7-10 years on DCS Operation in large Petrochemical Industries. Preference will be given to Methanol and Ammonia Plant DCS Operator.
SYSTEM & NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Qualifications, Job purpose & Experience:
- Computer Engineer or University Graduate in any IT stream.
- Demonstrated Expertise in installation, upgrades and maintenance of Windows 2003 Servers, Windows SMS Servers, and Microsoft Exchange 2003.
- Expertise in Administration of Domain Controller (ADC, PDC) Server, Active Directory Environment, DNS, Mail, ISA, File & Printer Server and Citrix.
- Demonstrated Expertise of LAN/WAN/VPN and TCP/IP Technologies.
- Configuration of Routers, Switches, Firewall and other Network Tools.
- CCNA, CISSP Qualification will be advantage.
- Knowledge of EPBAX System is Desirable.
- Experience 7-10 years on Information Technology, out of this a minimum 5 years of Microsoft Platform and Products.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MECHANICAL
Qualifications, Job purpose & Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Day to day Maintenance of Mechanical Equipments of Process Industry.
Experience 3-5 years on Mechanical Maintenance in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or related Industries in areas of Pumps, Compressors, Steam Turbines, Piping and Heat Exchangers.
