The Glenelg School of Abu Dhabi seeks outstanding teachers and educators to establish a premiere American curriculum Elementary School, Middle School, and High School in Abu Dhabi, and an Elementary School in Al Ruwais.
The school seeks teachers in the following subject areas:
- Elementary School Teachers (KG1 - Gr 5)
- English
- Math
- Social Studies
- Economics
- Art
- Islamic Studies
- Information Technology
- Arabic
- Arabic Social Studies
- German
- Physical Education
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Successful candidates must be highly qualified and will have at least five years of teaching experience in their field at the appropriate level. For all positions, evidence of curriculum design and development, and teaching a diverse pupil population in an international setting would be highly desirable. Applicants applying for High School should be prepared to teach up to Advanced Placement (AP) level classes.
For Arabic language and Arabic Social Studies teachers, Bachelor Degree in their field, 5-years’ Middle-East teaching experience, license issued by the UAE Ministry of Education, and English language proficiency are required.
