Tamilnadu Water Investment Co Ltd (TWIC) is managing the implementation of nine common Effluent Treatment Projects (CETP) in Tripur. The CETP are designed to ensure zero liquid discharge with complete recycling and reuse of waste water. They employ state of the art treatment systems involving pretreatment (Total Biological Oxidation), Reverse Osmosis and Thermal Evaporation System. They have combined effluent treatment capacity of 53000 cu.m per day to cater the needs of over 2300 dyeing and bleaching units.
