Project Management
Project Management : Experience in handling large scale EPC projects in Chemical, Environmental, Mineral, Fertilizers etc, Co-ordination with Clients, Consultants and Contractors. Should have adequate knowledge on projects planning, scheduling and monitoring systems for timely completion of projects. He will be the Profit-centre head for his operations and should have quality and cost control skill sets.
Contract Management : Experience in handling Contract Management with large scale EPC projects in Chemical, Environmental, Mineral, Fertilizers etc, Co-ordination with Clients, Consultants and Contractors Experience in Preparation of Estimate including technical and commercial offer for Mechanical and Civil works, Estimation of Claims and sound knowledge of Contracts Management. Evaluation of bids and finalization of Contracts, Drafting Tenders & Resolving Contract issues, Evaluation & Monitoring of the Contract Performance to ensure adherence to schedule.
Project Co-Ordination ; Experience in coordinating design engineering activities involving Basic and Detailed design engineering and Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities. Conversant with project activities, workflow of engineering activities, Project management activities like planning, scheduling, monitoring, Cost Estimation & Control. Exposure preferred in Water, Mineral Beneficiation, Fertilizers, and Pulp & Paper sectors will be an added advantage.
Project Planning : Experience in Basic & Detailed Design engineering work, planning and scheduling, working on corrective action reports. Man-hour estimation, preparation and monitoring document schedules and procurement activities. Knowledge in latest planning tools as primavera/MS Projects / SAP PS Module preferable.
Project Site
Project Site Heads (Resident Construction Managers) : Experience in planning, monitoring & Controlling of all site activities including manpower/ resource / material planning, analyzing the major scope of work at site (as per the Contract) and discussing with various disciplines for criticalities & strategies for timely completion of site work, responsible for Project Cost / Quality control and analysis for site activities, Co-ordination with Clients, Consultants and Contractors and strong leadership skills to manage the site on all aspects.
Construction / Execution Engineers: : Experience involving execution / monitoring / billing / Quantity Surveying / Co-ordination with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors in construction work of large scale EPC projects. End-to-end knowledge on testing and safety standards required.
Mechanical QA / QC: Should be conversant with Site QC activities and preparation of QAP in fabrication and erection of tankages, steel structures and piping. Knowledge in National & International Standards, Welding Techniques (WPS/PQR) and formal qualification in NDT is a must.
Civil QA / QC : Experience involving QA/QC activities in civil works. Knowledge in IS/ASTM codes and its application and testing of construction materials is preferred.
Quantity Surveyors : Experience in quantity estimation, studying and analyzing tender documents, preparing BOQs, reconciliation of quantities on periodical basis, site investigation, rate analysis with the objective to estimate properly & certify correctness of bills, making relevant notes and generating reports/documentation for submission to clients.
Safety : Experience with all the safety related rules, policies, directives, procedures and statutory provisions, Handle safety related induction training for the new personnel, Regular site visits for checking standards of general safety and reports it to the authorities, suggest ways to fix unsafe structures or recommend changes in the layout, Periodic inspection and regular maintenance of machinery and of fire fighting equipments, power tools, construction vehicles etc., First Aid Equipment checking, and maintenance of ambulance provision on site. Exposure to OSHAS / HAZOP studies preferable. Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Site Stores / Commercial / Accounts: Experience in Finance & Accounts/Stores & Purchase. Should be computer savvy, Exposure in handling inventory/accounting of project site materials like Cement, Steel, Pipes, cables, equipments, electrical items, instruments, Lubricants and chemicals will be preferred.
Commissioning Engineers : Experience in commissioning of RWTP/ETP/DM/RO Plants and O&M exposure in large Petroleum Refineries would be preferable. Basic knowledge of various equipment, its operation and trouble shooting along with process control is desirable.
Project HR & Administration: Experience in handling Project HR, IR and Administration in any EPC Projects, Complying with all statutory provisions related to labour and welfare laws, Facility Management (Security, Guest House, Canteen, Travel etc) ,Experience in networking and effective coordination with external agencies like Contractors, Service providers, Local Authorities etc.
Desirable candidates shall be confident, energetic and self – driven. Computer proficiency and good communication skills are essential.
